Can i transfer songs sent to me by email to my itunes without buying this Quicktime 7 Pro software? June 6, 2009


i click file on the little song box that comes up and then i click on SAVE AS but then it tells me i have to buy this stupid software!

Yes. Just save the file in your documents/music folder where iTunes is stored. iTunes should pick it up depending on your settings for what folders of music to manage. You may want to double check your iTunes settings.

You can also drag it to your desktop and use the import command in iTunes to import it.

You don’t need QuickTime Pro to save your songs and import them to iTunes. You should also have the latest QuickTime+iTunes installed, maybe there’s some problem with that.
