Help Me Please With My Mailing List? October 2, 2009
I have a blog (http://helpandtools.blogspot.com) and I give out free Computer Help & Tools + FREEBIES. The problem is that I also have a mailing list in which I’m planning to give out how-to articles, coupons, news and updates, more freebies and tools and many other things but I don’t know how to get people to join. I guess the reason I don’t have many subscribers and that’s a problem too…please help! Visit my blog and tell me what I need to change to get more subscribers please!!!
people are reluctant to join mailing list that are managed by someone else (in your case bravenet) because they sell email addresses and all your subscribers get lots of spam as a result. Use your own mailing list (there are lots of free plugins available) and try to entice people to sign up.
At the end of every article you can say something like: Do you like this article? Then sign up for free tech tips – delivered straight to you mailbox.
You might want to say to people that their email address will not be sold and used for spamming
