i would think that means they like you very much and really just want to soak it all in the pleasure of looking at you. you have their full attention, sounds pretty hopeful to me!

Sounds to me like they may be interested. But on the other hand, when I speak to people, I was always taught that it was really rude to not look at them while you were speaking to them. It is possible that the person was taught that as well. I’ve also known people who were just along the lines of ‘I’m not afraid to face the world and show them who I am’. I think it’ll probably come to you in time. If you ARE interested, yourself, maybe explore it a little; hang out with the person sometime, find out about what type of a person he or she may be.

Normally when you are in a conversation, especially an animated one, you are always making eye contact to emphasize a point or just to express an opinion. So, I see nothing wrong with making eye contact while talking. In your case, when they look deep into your eyes while talking to you, it could mean either they are fascinated with your beauty or just find you so refreshing that they could not help looking into your eyes. Nothing wrong with that if you ask me!
